Over the weekend my daughter swore again and again she had told her friend's grandma they were playing at our house. It turns out grandma had been looking for him and didn't know where he was. Of course she was terrified. My daughter swears she talked her. Her older and all-knowing brother asked her if the lady she spoke to had gray hair. She said yes. He proceeded to inform her that people who have gray hair tend to forget things.
I later told this comical story to friends and they laughed and commented that my son will be totally baffled when the ladies with no gray hair showing (because they color over it) forget things. I laughed and laughed. Since he's only 8, we will let him figure it out as he, too, gets older.
