Cutest Skiing Kids Ever!So the kids and I took skiing and snowboarding lessons over the Christmas Break. We had a blast, or at least the kids did. Once I got over all my tumblings, spills and bruising it was better.
Kade advance 3 levels after the first day and thinks he's a black diamond skiier already. Mom and Dad choose to make him stick to only the blue diamonds for now. Our dare devil.
Lauren smiles the entire way down the hill - going straight down at mock 90. Then she tumbles and blames the crash on me. Of course its my fault - I told you to go straight down and wasn't yelling "'S Turns" from behind you and "Make a Pizza, Make a Pizza".
Me, well, this snowboarding this has put me back in my place. I'm an athlete so I will catch on faster then others normall do, right? Yeah, right. On the second day I was ready to quit and couldn't find the love of the sport. I wanted to turn my board in and ask for my skiis back. By the 3rd day it was better. I went up for the 5th time last week and it finally clicked. So look out and move fast if you see my coming down the hill at Bogus Basin this year on my board. I'll be the out of control idiot screaming, "Fore, Fore...Move, Move, Move"!
